HiPPP EMR-C International Conference DRAFT

Welcome Message
Dear colleagues,
The Health in Preconception, Pregnancy, and Postpartum Early- and Mid- Career Researcher Collective (HiPPP EMR-C) is excited to announce our 2022 HiPPP EMR-C International Conference in Melbourne, Australia on Tuesday 18th October 2022. The conference has been planned to coincide with the International Congress on Obesity: ICO 2022 which is also being held in Melbourne, Australia from 18th October (starting at 5pm) – 22nd October 2022.
After a couple of years hosting the conference in a virtual format, we are excited at the opportunity to gather together to share, learn, connect, and network! Both in-person and online registration is available in 2022. We aim to create a friendly, supportive environment where PhD candidates, early and mid-career researchers and non-researchers (e.g. health care workers and health professionals) who have completed their last degree within the last 15 years have an opportunity to present their research and learnings. We encourage and welcome both HiPPP EMR-C members and anyone with an interest in the field to attend the conference. Please note, in-person registration is limited to 70 people due to room capacity. If you plan to attend the conference in person we encourage you to register ASAP so you don’t miss out!
We look forward to seeing you in Melbourne (or online) for the 2022 HiPPP EMR-C International Conference. If you have any questions, please contact us at conference.hippp.emrc@gmail.com.
Yours sincerely,
Jenna Hollis and Megan Gow (Conference Co-chairs)
