HiPPP Canadian Collective

About
The Health in Preconception, Pregnancy, and Postpartum Canadian Collective (HiPPP-CC) is a non-profit interdisciplinary collective dedicated to promoting excellence in research, fostering active collaboration, building capacity, and translating knowledge into practice in preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum health.
We strive to create a strong community that values inclusivity and diversity, and to share evidence-based education for healthy futures for parents and children. Our Collective unites emerging scientists (such as graduate students and postdoctoral trainees), early- and mid-career scientists, clinicians, and policy makers in the perinatal and pediatric field in Canada. Topic areas include lifestyle medicine (nutrition, physical activity, behavioural health), omics sciences (genomics, microbiomics, metabolomics, proteomics), integrated systems regulation (metabolism, immunity, epigenetics), maternal-fetal medicine, and related areas. By integrating these diverse but interconnected fields, we aim to advance both scientific understanding and practical solutions to improve maternal and infant health outcomes.
Becoming a member provides excellent opportunities to share your research nationally through webinars, newsletters, and social media, as well as internationally through conferences. It also enables you to apply for awards, engage in our mentoring and leadership roles, and capitalize on networking and collaboration opportunities. Membership is free.
